Adjacent to, and sharing service facilities with the North Tees Chemical complex is the Reclamation Ponds Site, an area of 160 acres of development land, providing limitless energy generation and related Technology Opportunities.

Part of this site has planning permission with section 36 & 37 consent for a 1020MW Combined Gas Fired Power Station, with the rest of the site benefitting from B2 planning designation, which permits the land to be developed for High Hazard Plant & Energy Generation.

Further land is available North of the River Tees at the Billingham Chemical Complex adjacent to Bellasis Avenue and at the Casebourne site off Haverton Hill Road, both sites offering excellent Rail and Port facilities and ideally located for energy generation and technology opportunities.
